TGR’s own Josh Teater is holding it down for us in Houston. Thursday in the opening round of the Shell Houston Open Teater fired a blazing 65 and has found himself two shots back from leader Jimmy Walker. Teater has himself in a great position to make the cut and cash in big while in Houston.
Not only does Teater have the opportunity to make a few hundred thousand; he is lucky enough that the PGA tour planned this lovely event the same weekend as the Final Four. As we all know Teater is a huge fan of the Cats, being born and raised in Lexington, KY. During the “Free Enes” campaign, Teater tweeted out a photo of his golf bag.
My budding John Lee whose company gracefully sent him to San Antonio to complete a construction assignment has the privilege to meet up with TGR’s Robbie Baldwin. The two of them have a weekend that will hopefully be the greatest in their lifetime. See, Lee and Baldwin planned to go to the Final Four a few months back; never did they imagine they would see Houston painted blue by the BBN.
This morning when Teater tee’s off at 8:40 est, Baldwin and Lee will be right there next to the rope as they watch Teater shoot him another low number. TGR will keep you updated on Josh as his round progress via Facebook and Twitter.
To be honest I’m very jealous of the weekend that my fellow friends have lined out. All signals are pointing to an exceptional weekend and TGR will have everything you need right here, so stay tuned.
