Because I was only 17 and in high school the last time UK went to the Final Four, I decided to take a trip to Lexington to see how college kids rock out for such a momentous occasion.
I get to a party on Linden Walk where I’m greeted by hot college girls screaming GO CATS and a custom beer pong table.
The night has already started out just right.
The energy in this small cramped house is off the hook.
On another note, this is a sight you won’t see too often, offensive lineman Stuart Hines supporting the Cats by holding a basketball piñata full of treats.
On my adventure through Lex, I decided to check out the bar scene for a look at the craziness.
I spoke with several people in the bar to get a feel of how confident they were of the Cats.
Michelle at a nearby table told me “Oh hell we’re gonna win by 12!!! Jorts is gonna takeover and control UCONN!”. She was excited and was ready for the action the start.
Another fan told me he thought “UCONN sucks, GO CATS!!! The X factor is Darius Miller knockin’em down. If his game is on, there’s no doubt in my mind.”
All I can say is that this town is ready for a showdown.
If you have pictures of your partying in Lex send them in to firstname.lastname@example.org and they might be on site.
